The holiday resort consists of several 2 floored blocks in the typical regional style. Milas (approx 19km)is an ancient city and a district of Muğla Province in Turkey. The Zeus temple, the walls surrounding the temenos and a row of columns are worth seeing.
"Baltalıkapı" (Gate with an axe) is one of the ancient symbols of the town.
Another symbol the "Gümüşkesen" is a two-storied monumental Roman tomb dating from the 2nd century AD.
The Great Mosque (1378), Orhan Bey Camii (1330) and Firuz Bey Camii are interesting historical mosques that need to be seen.
It's also recommended to see the Turkish buildings, especially the old houses of Milas which date back to Menteşe and the Ottoman periods.
